Daniel Clowes, author of Ghost World, David Boring, and the Eightball comics, has just concluded a serialized comic in The Funny Pages of the New York Times Magazine called Mister Wonderful. It’s something of a romance - just in time for Valentine’s? :P

Notice though how his own interior monologue supercedes what she is actually saying; is she really perfect for him, or is the girl merely incidental, filling in his own presupposed templates and fantasies of the perfect mate? It’s a lot to chew on.
